AE DANCE + FITNESSImportant Studio ChangesWeek commencing 16 June, most classes will be in a different location. This is because we have the perfect storm of the Owen Room and the Big Act both being unavailable in the same week! Please take a few mins to make sure you know where to go, especially if you take multiple classes on the same day as you might have to change locations. For parking info - head to the bottom of this message. Monday 16 JuneBristol Uni Indoor Sports Centre - Tyndall Avenue: Follow Google maps to here. When you arrive, go to reception and say you're there for a dance class. Go upstairs to the first floor, and follow the corridor around to the studios. The studios will be labelled. This video will help.
Bristol Grammar School: Follow Google Maps to here. And then follow the video directions here - Junior Hall is at 15 secs, Great Hall is at 27 secs. Note that Gate D will be locked, so you will need to enter from the Elton Road side (49 secs).
If you're dancing in the Great Hall, the main door will be unlocked, then you'll need the code 1423 for the coded inside door. Once you're in, go straight up the stairs ahead of you and you'll find the Great Hall there. Tap Level 1, Commercial (Intermediate) and Commercial (Int/Adv) are in their usual locations, as are Friday Lyrical Contemporary and Sweaty Mess (phew!) Parking infoBGS - the car park is likely to be busier than normal. If it's full, we'd recommend parking on Woodland Road or St Michael's Park (not free, sorry, but cheaper than other streets in the area). Gate D is now being kept locked, so you'll need to enter the car park via Gate A on Elton Road (follow Google Maps to here). Bristol Uni Indoor Sports Centre - we recommend parking on Woodland Road or St Michael's Park as above (or try BGS but we expect it'll be full). Richmond Building - we recommend parking on Richmond Hill Avenue (pay via Ringo app). We really recommend lift-sharing to maximise available car parking spaces - you are very welcome to post in your class Whatsapp group to ask for/offer a lift, and you can also post in the Lift Sharing group in the Whatsapp community. AE DANCE + FITNESS Voulez Groove 2026 - Explained! Voulez Groove is our BIG dance show coming up on Fri 19 and Sat 20 June 2026. We will start rehearsing for it, in normal class time, from 20 April. Most classes will perform - you can see which ones in the list here. But it is totally not mandatory to perform! You are super welcome to come along to classes as normal even if you can't make show weekend. AND we will also be putting on specific non-show classes in May/June time for non-show...
