AE DANCE + FITNESS"We currently have 3 shows on the horizon"I've never been able to say that before. 3 of our own shows - dates set, venues booked, tickets on sale (well, for 2 of the 3 at least)! I still remember the conversation at Bristol Improv Theatre, in October 2018, when I first decided "yep, I reckon we're big enough to put on your own show now". Some of you were actually in that conversation. I'd been running classes for 18 months at that point, and while we had performed, as guests, at other people's shows we'd never actually put on our own one. 6 months later, we did just that. 60 dancers. 100 audience members. And one of the best days of my entire life. The night ended in the LaRocca toilets, with my best friend Face-timing me from Canada saying she'd gotten in engaged. Oh and J*** S*******'s dungarees strap broke and she accidentally(?) flashed everyone. As I say, one of the best days of my entire life. Dance Show magic is one of a kind and I'm so grateful that as a 35 year old woman, I still get to feel that regularly. So to have 3 shows in the calendar now is...probably a reflection of someone who's still avoiding the post wedding blues and clinging on to her youth. Now let's see what we've got in store! The Choreo Show - 25 Oct π«We're going back to our Bristol Improv Theatre roots for an incredibly special evening β€οΈ In this one of kind show, the choreographers are...your class mates! A group of 20 creative and courageous humans who put their hands up and said 'yes I want to create a show piece, teach and perform it to a crowd'. And on Oct 25th it's YOUR CHANCE to see their creations! BOOK HERE! We've currently sold 66% of the tickets and it's my personal goal to make it a sell out show for these guys. So if you're free on Oct 25th, come along for a quintessential AE Dance night of
The show runs for 90min (with an interval) and there's a 6.30pm and an 8.30pm showing.

Next term datesWe have a week off w/c 27 Oct and then we're back from 3 Nov. We'll be in touch with the details of next term soon. Dancer of the Month - SeptemberThis person is, in the words of Amy, both a "freaking weapon" and "an angel" - what a lethal combo. She shows up to Sweaty Mess every Saturday - no matter what that week's thrown at her - with a smile on a her face. Even after a BNO - which deserves a medal in itself. She's self-proclaimed "not a natural dancer" and yet she's a teacher's dream to have in class. Kate Sheridan - you're made of the strongest stuff, it's incredibly inspiring. We're so glad you crossed our path. CONGRATULATIONS - YOU ARE OUR DANCER OF THE MONTH! Let us know what charity you'd like us to support with your winnings, and we'll send Β£25 their way. Okay, that was fun! Have lush weeks everyone! Angie xx
